Dr. Ronald C. Haas is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration. He has been voted
Outstanding Teaching Attending at North Shore University Hospital and Teaching Attending of the Year at Stony Brook University Hospital Department of Dentistry.He also serves as a
Prosthodontic Mentor and Lecturer for numerous Dental Study Groups. He graduated from Stony Brook Dental School with High Honors, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey where he received his
Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics . He returned to teach at both schools as a Clinical Instructor with the academic appointment of
Assistant Clinical Professor. He presently teaches Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry one day each week to the Dentists in the General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Haas has lectured nationally to General Dentists and Specialists on a variety of topics including Dental Implants, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, and the successful treatment of patients with Difficult Dental Problems. Many Dentists and Physicians are patients of Dr. Haas, recognizing his expertise in these areas. His hospital affiliations include North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and University Hospital at Stony Brook.
Dr. Haas lives locally with his wife and three children. His hobbies include sports, coaching children in basketball and soccer, and classic movies. One of his greatest satisfactions, however, is treating patients who are frustrated with their dental condition and didn't know where to turn, then finally providing relief and comfort.
